Prenatal Yoga and Acupuncture Workshop

Prenatal Yoga and Acupuncture Workshop

Baby on the way? While your body is going through an amazing period of change, it’s an important time to take care of mom so baby has the optimal circumstances for growing into a healthy child.

Yoga instructor Katie Ribas and acupuncturist Hayley Enright are teaming up to offer a workshop so moms-to-be can enjoy the benefits of the two practices in one convenient place. The first hour will be devoted to yoga, and the second hour to acupuncture treatment, which will be applied to points on the body while participants are in a relaxation posture.

Following the de Gasquet method of prenatal yoga, Katie will lead expectant mamas through yoga postures and movements to help alleviate aches and other unpleasant sensations that can occur during pregnancy, and provide guidance about how to move wisely throughout the day in your new and changing body.

Acupuncture is loved by moms-to-be all over the world for its safe and gentle methods of dealing with issues common in pregnancy, including nausea, back pain, insomnia, low immunity, fatigue, and constipation. Hayley will use her light touch to provide a balancing treatment that will help your body relax during this amazing journey.

Date: Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Venue: 35 rue St. Roch 75001 – Salle St. Exupery
