Life’s a Beach

In Paris, when you can’t get to the beach, the beach comes to you! The latest edition of Paris Plages opens July 8 with a more contemporary look (no sand this time, but environmentally friendly grass, stone and wood), and extends all the way to the Bassin de la Villette. Besides offering places to relax and have a drink, this year’s edition features water misters, volleyball, pétanque and a 1600m swimming area. So grab your shades and head to the banks of the Seine to relax, play and enjoy the sun!
