Do you speak cinema?

One of the ironies for Anglophones in France is that it’s sometimes harder to appreciate French movies here than at home because there are no subtitles. Unless you’re perfectly bilingual, it’s often difficult to follow the action. But now there’s Lost in Frenchlation to the rescue! Founded by a bi-cultural couple, Lost in Frenchlation aims to bring the best of French cinema to the international community in Paris by showing French films in French with English subtitles. Screenings are accompanied by a cocktail hour to make it the perfect evening out with friends, no matter which language you speak.

WhenNext screening of “Compte Tes Blessures” on March 9 at 7:15 pm
Where: Le Brady, 39 Boulevard de Strasbourg, 75010 Paris
From March 17, weekly screenings held at Cinema Studio 28
