The Women’s March….in PARIS this weekend
Here’s an important opportunity for women and men living in Paris to march in solidarity with the thousands of protesters who are participating in the Women’s March in Washington this Saturday, January 21st. Yes, it’s happening a day after Donald Trump’s Presidential inauguration and yes, it’s a positive action and a show of force in support of ensuring women, minority, LGBTQ and human rights are protected. Women abroad are watching, speaking up and staying strong!

Who wears what?
Due to popular demand, the fashion exhibit, Anatomy of a Collection, has been extended until February 12th in the beautiful Palais Galleria. Curators explore what people will wear and why fashion designers create them, using a study of the fashion museum’s own extensive private collections.

An eye on design
The Graphic Design Festival Paris is THE place to discover the newest artists, innovations and practices on the modern graphic design scene. The program includes workshops and exhibits for professionals, students and the general public, touching on a variety of aspects of “visual identity” (posters, illustrations, publications, typography, signage, etc). Amongst the highlights, the Musée des Arts Decoratifs has given carte blanche to 10 artists and collectives to display their works, while a series of posters based around the theme of “Sports” will be displayed in public spaces and on digital screens across Paris.
