There are loads of vibrant and fun activities for the whole family over the next two weeks during the Toussaint holidays. Visit a colorful ceramics exhibit, go on a chocolate binge, roller skate at the top of the world, test out the latest in video games and give yourself a beauty boost.

The Experience of Color

An exceptional exhibit displaying ceramics from the 18th century to present day at the iconic Sèvres Cité de la Céramique (just on the edge of Paris) celebrates the evolution of the artistic use of color. Over 400 unique pieces featured on the museum’s third floor illustrate how a thousand and one colors have been created since 1740. Discover the origins of celestial or Sèvres blue, Pompadour pink or Sottass Orange in l’Experience de la Couleur, which is part of the Centre Pompidou’s 40th anniversary event.

Chocolate Glorious Chocolate

Chocolate lovers in search of the best cocoa on the planet will experience nirvana at this year’s 5-day Salon du Chocolat. With over 500 participants, including over 200 renown chefs and pastry chefs, the theme “in the footsteps of cacao explorers”, will offer the most mouthwatering range of chocolates from the “lands of cacao” on five continents. Indulge in the ultimate chocolate experience, feast your eyes on chocolate fashion and join in the festivities to celebrate everyone’s favorite food!

Top Roller

See Paris like you’ve never seen it before – gliding around the top of the Tour Montparnasse on roller skates! During the Toussaint vacation, a temporary roller rink has been installed on the panoramic observation deck (210m up!) where you can skate with a view of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Notre Dame. Roller skates are available to borrow but bring your own protections. If you prefer to let the kids do the skating, have a hot chocolate at the bar while you take in one of the most outstanding views of Paris.

Video Games Galore

Video game addicts, get ready to be blown away – Paris Games Week is here. One of the top 3 gaming conventions in the world, PGW celebrates video game culture in all its forms: new consoles, VR systems, e-sport competitions and of course a sneak preview of the hottest video games of 2018. This year’s edition features a space where you can learn to code en famille, a special Made in France area highlighting independent studios, and even a symphony concert celebrating the best in video game music.
