This week in Paris, celebrate Japanese culture, raise a glass to new beer trends, take in some contemporary drawing and hit the urban beach!

To the Happiness of Women

In its new exhibit, “Kimono, au bonheur des dames,” the Musée Guimet features iconic Japanese kimonos from the house of Matsuzakaya, founded in 1611. With big name French supporters such as Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier, these gorgeous pieces reveal the roots of Japanese influence within the world of French fashion.

It’s Manga Mania

From “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” to your favorite anime, the Paris Manga Festival brings fun comic books for everyone. Lovers of sci-fi and manga can enjoy a jam-packed weekend full of meet-and-greets with YouTubers, costume contests and gaming galore. For little ones (kids under six are free) and big kids at heart!

Let’s Hit the “Beach”

Spring is here, so Colette is bringing the beach to you!
