In its new exhibit, “Kimono, au bonheur des dames,” the Musée Guimet features iconic Japanese kimonos from the house of Matsuzakaya, founded in 1611. With big name French supporters such as Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier, these gorgeous pieces reveal the roots of Japanese influence within the world of French fashion.
