Fall is in full swing and after Paris Fashion Week we’re seeing some really interesting pieces gracing the streets of the City of Light. Of course, with the new season upon us, we have a whole host of new trends, just waiting to be adopted! Here’s our roundup of the best fashion trends for Fall and exactly how you can integrate them into your existing closet!

 Top-of-the-line Tops

When it comes to tops, it’s all about the blouse this season.

Interesting necklines like a Victorian collar are perfect for Fall. High-necked and full of crochet or lace, they are feminine yet powerful. Perfect for pairing with casual jeans and loafers or dressed up with a fitted skirt and tall heels, the Victorian collared blouse is a must-have in your closet. Stick to neutral colors like white, black, navy or a striking red for the most versatile looks.

If you don’t have a particularly long or slender neck, the Victorian collar might not be best for you. Don’t worry, as well as the high neck we also have deep plunging V necks on the cards this season. Ideal for lengthening your neck and narrowing the shoulders, a deep V neck blouse is perfect for Fall layering and can be paired with any number of outerwear pieces such as a moto jacket, blazer or wool coat for a flawless look every time.

Sweeping Skirts

Full skirts have been on the circuit for a while now and they don’t seem to be going any other direction. We couldn’t be happier as a full circle skirt is a really flattering look for any body type. They hide a multitude of sins including love handles, a less than flat stomach and heavy thighs as well as elongating your calves –everyone’s a winner! Mid-length is best, just ensure that your skirt finishes just below the thickest part of your calf to reap their leg lengthening qualities.

Dig those Denims

This season, denim is playing on light and dark opposites, color-blocking garments with both acid-washed light denim and dark indigo dyes in the same piece. Playing on that Americana look, some of the best denim jackets around for Fall feature raw edge hems, fringed hems and boxy or cropped silhouettes. Complimenting the angular look of jackets, jeans are staying straight cut and masculine.

Blast of Outerwear

Red coats are everywhere this Fall.

Making a striking statement, a signature red coat can instantly upgrade an outfit to Instagram-worthy status. We’re seeing all kinds of coats in various shades of crimson, brick red and burgundy, from oversized puffer parkas to streamlined belted numbers and lapelled trenches. To make your red coat really pop, keep the rest of your outfit minimalist to allow your coat to soak up all of the drama.

As well as a bold red coat, texture is playing a large role this season. Shaggy coats made with popcorn yarns that are knobby and dangling, faux fur gilets and sweaters, and all-over fringing that catches the wind are all key elements when it comes to outerwear this season. Texture is all about dramatic effect, so don’t be a wallflower and be bold with your outerwear essentials.

Fancy Footwear

When it comes to footwear for Fall, it’s all about the boots of course! Keeping with the rest of the trends for Fall/Winter 2017, there’s nothing shy about boots this season either! We’re seeing lots of glitter, sequins, plastic and fur trimming.

If it isn’t over the top, it isn’t on trend!

You can go really crazy this season with knee or thigh highs encrusted with glitter or jewels or keep it less abrasive with sweet ankle boots with a transparent heel or toe cap.

  1. My favorite fashion trends for upcoming autumn are: Red color! You can wear red high-heels, or red western style leather boots or a red leather overcoat. Literally anything in red will make you look just trendy this Autumn.
