The first ever American Basketball Camp in Paris. During the school holidays, boys and girls aged 10-17 can learn basketball fundamentals and techniques with the pros, in both English and French. Two locations: Versailles, and the American School of Paris in Saint Cloud.

One of the nicer fully-equipped aquatic centers around Paris, with multiple pools for leisure and for training, as well as an outdoor pool, two solariums and a “beach” in the summer. Clean and well-organized, they also have a spa, hammams, saunas, and UV cabins.

Your kids can get limber, keep fit, gain confidence and improve their personal and physical expression while learning traditional circus arts like juggling, balancing, and walking across tight ropes. Cirqu-Aouette works with many schools around Paris and offer courses throughout the year at their center in the 13th arrondissement, as well as workshops during school holidays. The first Venturing Crew in France offers teenagers from age 14 and up an invitation to adventure, leadership, personal growth and service. A program of the Boy Scouts of America, Venturing places strong emphasis on its policy of co-ed “youth-led’ programs with adult-guidance, providing opportunity for youths to test their limits, to develop new skills and to make a difference.
Crew 2014 is an English-speaking group, with activities including hiking, camping, go-karting and an action course called Koezio.

A wide offering of courses for adults and children of all ages, from Monday through Saturday. Children’s classes run the gamut from baby gym (1 year and up) to fencing and multiple martial arts disciplines (Aïkido, Judo, Karate, Kung Fu, Self Defense, Viet-Vo-Dao). They even offer dance classes (baby dance, street dance, hip-hop) and Circus/Acrobatics. For adults, all the martial arts, plus Zumba, Salsa, Classical Dance and Modern Jazz.
A friendly, private tennis and multi-sports club devoted to kids, with courses on Wednesdays and weekends through the year, and holiday sports camps for children from 3 to 14 years old. You can sign up your kids for any of their regular classes on a weekly, half day or daily basis. A convenient door-to-door minibus service shuttles kids from Paris to the club, which sits on 2 hectares of green space, 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower in Bièvres.
Their Les Gymnases Parisiennes offers golf, gym, soccer and tennis courses for kids from 2 to 10 years on Saturdays in gyms in the 7th, 8th, 16th and 17th arrondissements of Paris.

One of INSPIRELLE’s favorite family destinations, this is a 20-hectare (49-acre) children’s amusement park located in the northern corner of the Bois de Boulogne. The under 12 crowd will love the carnival type games, climbing wall, puppet shows, petting zoo, donkey and camel rides and sprinklers in the summer!
Their Maison des Ateliers offers workshops through the year and a party package for 350€, which includes an interactive workshop for 10 kids, birthday cake, drinks, candies and goody bags. All parents need to do is show up and take photos! But it’s very popular, so make sure to reserve at least one month in advance.
Metro: Odéon (lines 4 and 10)
This beautiful park, located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, covers 23 hectares and is known for its lawns, tree-lined promenades, and flowerbeds. The model sailboats on its circular basin will keep the kids busy for hours. For children, there’s an enclosed playground (small entry fee), a famous carousel with brass ring game, tennis and basketball courts, and pony rides.
Metro: Porte de Pantin (line 5)
This is the 3rd largest park and represents one of the largest concentrations of cultural venues in Paris. It houses Europe’s largest science museum (Cité des Sciences et l’Industrie), 3 major concert venues, and a 360 degree cinema.
A 10-minute drive from the Arc de Triomphe, it’s an ideal place for all the family – 55 hectares of open green space, with a golf course, tennis courts, gym, swimming pools and kids’ club. The membership price is steep and requires other member sponsors.
INSPIRELLE tip: even non-member children can sign up for sports classes during the school year, and their holiday day camps offer a choice of tennis, golf, soccer, dance, English, and circus workshops during the major school breaks.
Kids 5 to 14 years will love the caché of training at this soccer school, which is affiliated with the professional team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Courses are offered throughout the year on both indoor and outdoor pitches, plus they have intensive workshops (stages) during school holidays for kids up to 17 years.
