The first Venturing Crew in France offers teenagers from age 14 and up an invitation to adventure, leadership, personal growth and service. A program of the Boy Scouts of America, Venturing places strong emphasis on its policy of co-ed “youth-led’ programs with adult-guidance, providing both young men and young women an opportunity to test their limits, meet new friends, develop new skills, make a difference and have a lot of fun working together in a close-knit team.
Crew 2014 is an English-speaking group, though many of its members are fully bilingual and come from many cultures and countries, including the US, France, Russia, India and Ireland. Last year’s activities included hiking, camping, go-karting and an action course called Koezio. Monthly meetings were accompanied by spaghetti dinners and a time to relax together during the intensive school week.
Young children from 0 to 6 will have fun discovering music, rythym and dance with percussion instruments, theatre songs, gymnastic movements and puppets at the Jack N’ Jill Music Club. All classes are run in English and are limited to small groups.
