Meet Lauren Bastide in Conversation with Pauline Lemasson
January 18, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

INSPIRELLE readers are invited by AAWE Paris to attend a lively discussion between journalist Lauren Bastide and writer Pauline Lemasson about Lauren’s new book “Présentes – Ville, médias, politique… quelle place pour les femmes?” which examines the invisibility of French women in public spaces, media, and politics. The discussion will take place in English.
Her well-researched book is a manifesto for change and influenced by the many women of all backgrounds she has interviewed on her podcast “La Poudre,” which has over 10 million listeners. Included in her argument are the importance of women’s voices and expertise in all domains, how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted womens’ work and lives, and the paths toward gender parity and justice. Lauren is featured in Vanity Fair‘s “Top 50 French Women who Made 2020”.
