Who’s Popping Now in Paris? 

You might have missed the discreet grand opening of Yummy Pop in Paris during the Toussaint holidays. But guess who’s behind the gourmet popcorn shop in the Marais? American expat mom and Oscar-winning actress Scarlett Johansson and her French husband Romain Dauriac. She joins the ranks as an entrepreneur, promoting her popcorn laced with parmesan, truffle and sage flavors.

Never Too Early to Get Into the Christmas Spirit

It feels too soon, but why not? Paris’ popular department store, Le Printemps, unveils its iconic and enchanting Christmas storefront windows this week. Actress Uma Thurman, representing Jimmy Choo, has the honor of lifting the curtains to reveal this year’s winter wonderland theme: Children Awakening in a Dream. You don’t have to be a kid to appreciate the visual magic of Christmas!

Feel the Suspense of the US Elections en Direct 

It’s not only Americans who feel anxious about the outcome of this year’s U.S. Presidential Elections. All eyes are watching the night of November 8th to see if America votes for its first female President or its first untraditional leader.

To witness US history from the screens in Paris, head on over to La Maison de la Radio France, which is hosting Nuit Américaine, an all-nighter open to the public till 8am the next day. Follow the the nail-biting election results live and listen to French panels discuss what’s at stake in an all red, white and blue setting.

November WAS Photography Month!

If you’ve lived in Paris for a while, you’ll be surprised to hear that November is no longer Photography Month! As Paris photography month has grown so much, the capital has renamed it Le Mois de la Photo du Grand Paris! The event will take place in April 2017 and will be larger than ever. But wait! The 20th edition of PARIS PHOTO is still on in November at the Grand Palais, where you you will find works from 153 galleries.
