Perfume Paradise
Perfume and Paris go hand in hand, which makes it the perfect site for a new museum celebrating the history, art and science of perfume. Opening December 16th in an elegant mansion in the 8th arrondissement, the Grand Musée du Parfum offers an innovative and interactive collection of over 70 scents in a stunningly designed gallery. Visitors can learn about the development of perfume from Ancient Egypt to the present as well as the skills and techniques of modern perfume-makers. A full cultural program, bookstore and concept-store further enrich this new garden of olfactory delights.

Eiffel on Ice
There’s nothing like Christmastime in Paris! And what more perfect view than from the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, which has been turned into a magical ice rink for the season. This year, in addition to the classic skating and sledding, free introductory ice hockey sessions will be offered in advance of the World Ice Hockey Championships, which will take place in Paris next May. At the foot of the tower find more activities and tasty treats, like toasted marshmallows and mulled wine.
