When we’re looking for a simply excellent massage and a moment of zen, Yuzuka is our go-to place.
Yuzuka is a Japanese spa salon located just minutes away from the Champs de Mars and Ecole Militaire in the chic 7th arrondissement. As you step through the door and smell the scent of yuzu, the aromatic Japanese citrus fruit from which this spa gets its name, you’ll feel your stress melt away.
The professional and friendly masseuses know exactly where to apply the right pressure to work out the knots from your body with their fingertips. You can choose from a traditional shiatsu (our favorite), reflexology or a lymphatic massage. And you can choose from one of 5 Japanese essential oils, depending on your mood.
Once you float out of the treatment room, you’ll be served a cup of tea as you check out their selection of essential oils and mainly yuzu-based products, which you can purchase before you go home to slip right under your covers and sleep the night away.
Short on time? Yuzuka also offers express treatments such as “Les After Works” 20-minute shoulder or foot massages.
